Alternative Dispute Resolution

Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) figures prominently in Gold Weems’ litigation practice, with firm litigators appearing as advocates in mediations and arbitrations in a variety of cases. Additionally, two of the Firm’s senior attorneys serve as neutrals - mediators or arbitrators - working to help others resolve their cases in a cost effective and expeditious manner.

Bradley L. Drell, an experienced commercial and bankruptcy litigator, is available for civil case mediations, and has received specialized training in commercial, bankruptcy, and multi-party mediations.

F. A. Little, Jr., a retired United States District Judge, with Federal appeals court experience in the 5th and 6th Circuits, is a mediator and arbitrator, and is certified by FINRA (Financial Regulatory Authority) to conduct arbitrations and mediations in the securities industry.

The offices of Gold, Weems in Alexandria, Louisiana are ideally suited to host mediations and arbitrations, with four spacious conference rooms with Wi-fi internet. The offices are located near numerous hotels and restaurants with quick access to Alexandria International Airport. Gold Weems neutrals are also willing to travel to facilitate the resolution of disputes in a manner most cost efficient for the parties.
