Evelyn I. Breithaupt ("Evie") concentrates her practice in employment and health law. She advises businesses and public entities with employment contracts and policies, employee benefits, ERISA, cafeteria plans, the Affordable Care Act, COBRA, the Americans with Disabilities Act, and the Fair Labor Standards Act; governmental ethics and local government law; and federal and state health care law, including hospital governance, contract preparation and review, and compliance with HIPAA, state and federal referral laws and Medicare and Medicaid requirements.
Evie received her Juris Doctor degree from Harvard Law School, cum laude, where she served as an Article Editor of the Harvard Journal of Law & Technology, the Symposium Chair of the Federalist Society, and the President of the Abigail Adams Society. She also served as a volunteer with the Congressional Oversight Panel for the Troubled Asset Relief Program. Evie maintains law licenses in both Louisiana and Texas.
