Fortune magazine's just published Investor's Guide 2012 issue presents a first ever Top Ranked Law FirmsTM list compiled by LexisNexis® Martindale- Hubbell®. Of 254,000 firms (and over 1,000,000 lawyers) rated by Martindale-Hubbell, only 1000 firms were selected nationally for inclusion in the list, for having at least one-third (33%) of their attorneys achieve the AV Preeminent rating. Only 31 firms in Louisiana and only 2 firms north of Baton Rouge (Gold Weems being the only firm in Alexandria) were listed. This is the first time Martindale has done a ranking for law firms.
