Gold Weems is pleased to announce that Lauren LaRavia has joined the Firm as Counsel.

Lauren LaRavia focuses her practice on taxation (federal and state), bankruptcy, corporate/business law, and estate planning/successions.  She received her LL.M. in Taxation from the University of Florida, Levin College of Law, in 2005, graduating first in her class. After finishing her LL.M., Lauren worked over one decade as an attorney at the IRS Office of Chief Counsel, where she routinely performed litigation and advisory functions relating to complex federal tax matters.

Lauren is currently licensed to practice in Florida and Texas.  She will be sitting for the Louisiana Bar in February 2019.
