Gold Weems Director Gregory B. Upton was inducted as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Central Louisiana Chamber of Commerce at the 103^rd Annual Meeting of the members held on December 14, 2016.  The Chamber is the voice of business in central Louisiana, advocating for its 1250 members at the local, state and federal levels of government.  As Chairman, Greg will be leading the Chamber’s lobbying efforts in meetings with the Governor, Louisiana’s Congressional delegation, and numerous other state and local officials. Greg’s election continues a long tradition of community activism by Gold Weems attorneys. 
 
Greg’s diverse practice focuses primarily on Corporate and Business Law, including both transactional and litigation matters. Greg completed his 25^th year at Gold Weems last year.
