Caleb J. O’Connell received his B.S. from McNeese State University in 2020, magna cum laude, with a double-major in Psychology and Criminal Justice and received his J.D./D.C.L. in 2024, magna cum laude, from Paul M. Hebert Law Center, graduating as a member of Louisiana State University’s chapter of the Order of the Coif.
During law school, Caleb was a member of the Louisiana Law Review, where he received the Henri Capitant award for the outstanding student article on a Civil Law or comparative law topic and was awarded CALI Excellence Awards for receiving the highest grade in six Civil Law and comparative law classes. Caleb also was an active member in the Christian Legal Society, serving as the President for the 2023–2024 academic year.
After graduation, Caleb joined Gold, Weems, Bruser, Sues & Rundell. He focuses his practice on estate planning and successions.
