Conner L. Dillon ("Connor") practices mainly within the firm’s Bankruptcy and Business Reorganization section, and he has a particular focus on representing farmers and agricultural clients in debt workouts and Chapter 12 cases.  Conner was recognized as a Rising Star in Business Bankruptcy by Super Lawyers in 2026.

Conner is also an experienced trial attorney with an active commercial litigation practice, representing plaintiffs and defendants in both state and federal court. His litigation experience spans contract disputes, debt workouts, creditor's rights and collection matters, and federal receivership proceedings, and he represents clients in all phases of litigation, including trial and appeal.

Representative Matters
  • Represented numerous Chapter 12 family farm debtors, and is routinely successful securing post-bankruptcy crop loans, negotiating with secured lenders, and confirming Chapter 12 Plans.
  • Advises and litigates on behalf of regional banks and commercial lenders in executory process foreclosures involving multi-property commercial, residential, and agricultural collateral.
  • Handles Chapter 7, 11, 12 bankruptcy matters for both debtors and creditors, from the initial petition through confirmation, discharge, and post-confirmation compliance.
  • Represented a national mortgage lender in federal receivership proceedings to appoint a third-party receiver over a manufactured home community and related affiliate home inventory.
  • Successfully represented creditors in post-judgment collection and enforcement actions, including garnishment proceedings against financial institutions, writs of fieri facias, and judgment debtor examinations.
  • Successfully represented secured creditors in UCC Article 9 vehicle and equipment repossession and title transfer disputes.
  • Advises clients on structuring and negotiating general debt workouts and out-of-court restructurings for financially distressed businesses and individuals.
  • Routinely litigates commercial and business disputes, and handles all aspects of contested matters, including motion practice, trial, and appeal.
  • Advised numerous Louisiana LLCs on creation, membership, ownership changes, sale, and dissolution.
