Sarah Spruill Couvillon and Annalynn S. McDermott successfully obtained approval for an H1B employment visa for an employee on behalf of local business owner.

The USCIS issues only a limited number of H1B visas to foreign professionals working in a specialty occupation.  Despite no specific case law on the position of an Engineering Technologist and after consideration of their detailed brief, USCIS granted the petition finding that an Engineering Technologist qualified as a specialty occupation.
