Gold Weems is proud to announce that counsel Sarah S. Couvillon has been appointed to the Louisiana Board of Ethics by Governor John Bel Edwards.  

The Board of Ethics is responsible for administering and enforcing provisions of the Code of Governmental Ethics, the Election Integrity Act, the Campaign Finance Disclosure Act and the Lobbyist Disclosure Act.  As required by statute, Sarah was nominated by the Louisiana Association of Independent Colleges and Universities, Inc., and will serve as a representative for the 5th Congressional District.
