U.S. Bankruptcy Court Appoints Drell as Chairman of Newly-Formed Local Rules Committee

The Judges of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of Louisiana have recently formed a Local Rules Committee from members of the bar across the district to aid the court in revamping the local rules of that court to comport with recent amendments to the Federal Rules of Bankruptcy Procedure and to generally revamp the rules to comport with current practices.  The Committee will have intensive work for its first year, but the committee is intended to be a permanent entity to help the court revise the rules on an as needed basis going forward.

At the inaugural meeting of the committee on September 24, 2018, Bradley L. Drell of the firm was elected chairman of the committee after being nominated by the Chief Judge, John W. Kolwe.
